House Call

I moved into my townhome in 2022, two years ago next month.  We have an issue with a cable connection on the second floor that I believe I am paying for but which does not work.  Is it possible to request an AT&T repair person to come out and do a check for me?

I realize it's been two years, but this has never worked.  I'm just now finding time to complain.  I suspect I may be subject to a service charge (although at $250.00 per month, I find it hard to believe I should have to).  I have been an AT&T customer longer than move people alive right now--literally 68 years of my life on an AT&T plan of some kind (even before I started paying bills).

Please advise.

800-288-2020, a service call is $99 which is added to your next bill…

if had called within 90 days of installation might have been non billable but 12+ months for wiring that you own is going to be billable. Outside drop wiring from damage should not be, but anything inside is your responsibility including request to relocate equipment or repair/ replacement of existing wiring.

If the issue is ATT equipment different story but your post I interpreted as wiring problem.

So you have U-Verse, but the connection doesn't work? What are you experiencing?

Thank you, All, for your help!  I will call At&T to schedule an opportunity to repair this issue.  It's on me that I didn't follow up right then....Live and learn.
