How to record a channel every week
I want to set up my Uverse DVR to record a channel at the same time every week. However, I can't use series record because it is a program that plays a different movie every week and the title of the movie is listed in the guide, not the program. I would think I could pick a channel and have it record every Thursday at 8 p.m., for example. Any help on how to do this? Thanks!

You don't schedule recordings using a channel number. You schedule recordings using a program name.
If the program is listed in the guide (ie: Bob's Movie Party), use that information. Otherwise you are OOL.

Ok, that's what I thought. I have to manually record the program every week. Just wanted to touch base and see if there was a way. Maybe ATT can update their software to allow recording by channel in the future. Thanks for the reply!

Uverse is EOL (end of life) and being phased out, ie. no longer being sold. I wouldn't count on any major changes and/or updates.
