Remote not playing nice with sound bar

I have a Samsung Soundbar model number HW-HM45. My ATT UVerse remote will not connect to it. I have tried to enter every code possible manually and I have also tried to automatically connect with no success. The code is simply not there.   I have not had any issues connecting my new TV. It was seamless. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It's a pain to have to use a separate remote just to control the sound.

Thanks,

Angie

Some people have reported that TV codes may work with some soundbars. Try Samsung TV codes on the TV button. If you find one that works you can move it to the aux button - att/ok-944-tv-aux-enter.

A work around is to vary the volume in the STB. att/ok-955-enter. This will cause the control to follow the mode button.

Set the STB volume to 15 as seen on the screen.

Set the TV volume to a comfortable level.

Set the soundbar volume to a comfortable level.

While watching in att mode the volume button will vary the volume in the STB & you will hear trhe difference in the TV or soundbar, whichwever is on.

You can get a Logitech Harmony model 350 remote or this RCA - http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=RCRP05BR

Change the soundbar to a ZVOX or other brand that allows flexibilty in choosing the IR coding.

Does anyone know how to program an innovative technology stereo sound bar model ITSB-201-37? I tried the auto tune but the sound bar doesn't have a mute so there is nothing telling me when it's has the correct code
