Small feature - Not record old episodes?
Add an ability/option to not record old episodes. System should know by the date or by if it's tagged as 'New' to not record a old episodes or reruns. Having to cancel each old episode in the Scheduled tab is pretty annoying.

That feature has always been there! When you set up a series record specify "first run only" for the show type. I also recommend you specify "any day, any time" for the time.
That "first run" info is dictated (more or less) by the "Original air date" specification you see when you do a Info on a particular show in the grid. If the Original air date is not specified or is the current date it is considered "first run". But you need to be careful of that date. Some channels like the SCI and DSC channels broadcast some shows more that once on the same day (for eastern and western feeds). For those channels be sure to select earliest broadcast of the that program since the second broadcast on that same day is not considered a "first run".
One final note, the info for a program including its first run specification date comes from ATT's grid provider. ATT doesn't control that info. So if it's wrong or missing (don't get me started about the SCI channel for stuff more than one week out) it's the grid providers mistake. And they in turn can pass the buck to the station providing that station's info to them.
