Updated DVR /storage
Hey all! Does anyone know if the powers that be are updating the aris 2250 (500gb) d.v.r.? I would love one that is 1TB so the pressure to watch the shows recorded isn't always there.
The extra storage would allow to carry over into the summer/ winter when repeats are on.
I'm from the Detroit, Michigan market. Thanks.

@antman_2 You mean weekely reboots? Nope still doing that as I'm keeping what I know works.
When social media guys (who became ATT Uverse Care) drop shipped me DVRs, first one, 1225, was defective. Any time you clicked on Scheduled Recording or Menu it would reboot. Luckily they could put the original 1216 back on the account so I had a DVR.
Then drop shipped a 2250 the next nite and that one worked for about a year and got a red X and link lite lit even when unplugged. Then got this 1225 I have now by a tech visit on Mon aft from 2250 failure, handled by Filipino TS Sun evening.
Storage is not my problem (never gone below 50% recording space), it's low memory in this 1200 series, slowing things down after a week needing a reboot.
That was the original reason for getting the drop shipped DVRs. Will probably wait to see what we get when they merge us and DTV in the (who knows when) future.

@mibrnsurg too bad on your continuing dvr issues. Been there- if you know what works, keep on doing it. I get it.
I could have sworn the last ATT tech I spoke to a few months ago said a high storage dvr is out there (west coast).
It would be great to have a tb of storage!
Yes, go Detroit teams but more importantly................ GO BLUE!

@antman_2 We Spartans have a differnt version, M Go B..w (when it was M Go Blue). I just don't get into college sports w/all the pro teams we have here (and suffer with) in metro Detroit.
