U-verse app from APP store in Iphone

I have u-verse tv and the app in my i-phone was a blue screenl  I went to open it and a pop up came up saying to update itl  So i opened it and it showed a direct TV app which is black color.  It does not have the channels that the other u-verse app had .  anyone else have had this happen.  I go back to the app store and this is the only one.  Help

1. Clear the cache and cookies on your device.

2. Reset the password that you use to log into the app.

The problem is the u-verse app in the App Store is not the correct one for just att U-Verse users.  It is for direct TV users.

The new app does not work. It will not login.  AT&T has not updated their techs on this and none of them know what is going on. I’ve tried and they just go in a loop passing the buck and lying. There is no app outage.  There is nothing wrong with your current login. It is all them. But they’ll lie all day long telling your this or that.  And it will just frustrate you. Just know it is THEIR FAULT. Not sure the answer here and till someone that knows the correct path weighs in we are all lost.

I can’t even get the correct app for my u-verse.  Only one available is for direct tv in the App Store.

The update is the one that says DirecTV. And you cannot downgrade easy. I say easy because I do not know if there is a way or not. But if you could your app would work.

AT & T certainly is a mess. You'd think someone tested the app before the update.
