Add PIP Browse Description-Show which college football game is on, not just "College Football"

This is a pervasive deficiency.

It starts with the basic description. The description providers seem to think it is OK to fill in the blanks with a generic description of the show. It is not. 99.9 percent of the viewers either know that or do not care. To be meaningful EVERY description MUST contain the episode details - In this case who is playing - This applies to all sports. This applies to all listings.

In the case of talk shows, it says so & so interviews guests. Well, that happens every day. The uniqueness of the episode lies in the guest identity - Not generic guest - specific guest.

If you do a search on a sport you may get a list that says sport X. That is already known. That was the input. Each line must contain the teams to show the difference between each record. Also, should show channel detail.

Time to gather meaningful info  & apply it where it can be quickly assimilated

What I found was the announcers came up on a College football game today.

Easy solution is just go to the Guide, there you'd get a full description, at the bottom, as you scrolled thru.

Don't count on the programmers to make the change, previously the PIP browser showed more info, but they've limited to less.  People complained it took too long to read it all, when pressing Info was quicker. 😉

Ya, I really wish the guide wouldn't block the screen the way it does.  I hate bringing up the guide the way it is now.  I'd like to be able to see what I'm currently watching and still be able to look at the guide.

I think it was either a cable company in New Jersey or FIOS that had a user option to set what the smaller picture was - Current view or preview of selection. In the case of no option the small picture was the current show.

Since you mention it, it does not make sense to have the small picture on the guide be the preview, because there is nothing there for any future time. The small picture on the menu should be the live show.

I kind of fell into my solution, because I really like to watch two TVs or one TV & the computer.  So, I can use one for the guide & the second to watch. If there are three things going on I can watch the third TV. See avatar. All three controled by one remote - Logitech Harmony Smart Control.
