Blocked from Thanksgiving preview; Why?

I keep getting emails and messages stating that there is a Thanksgiving preview of premium channels this weekend, yet when I try to view those channels I get the message "You are not subscribed to this channel." This happens with both regular and HD channels. I even tried going through the message center, where it clearly states there is a free preview and I get the same result. 

Why offer me a free preview that I cannot actually watch?

Unplug everything.

Plug the gateway back in and wait for normal ops.

Plug the WAP back in and wait for normal ops.

Plug the DVR back in and wait for normal ops.

Plug the receivers back in and wait for normal ops.

If that doesn't work, look for the red button on the back of the gateway. Press it for 45 seconds until all the lights on the front turn off. Keep in mind that this will reset your custom WiFi name and password.
