Disappointed with Stingray Channels

My request: Review the MC Throwback Jamz and make a true Stingray channel that matches that format.

I'm not sure who was responsible for the channel comparison picks, but they most likely are not urban music listeners.

 

The following channels are nothing similar:

 

MC Hip-Hop Classics vsStingray Classic R'n'B & Soul
MC Throwback Jamz vs Stingray Groove (Disco and Funk)

 

My favorite channel was Throwback Jamz and the new "Stingray Groove" doesn't seem to play any songs I heard on Throwback Jamz. Throwback was focused on late 80s through 90s, this is nowhere in the ballpark of Disco music! Didn't that die in the late 70s? 

And comparing Hip Hop Classics to "Soul" music... Huh!?! Someone wanting to listen to "Soul" is not wanting to hear Hip Hop and vice versa. Please put someone in charge that actually listens to those genres to help sort it out.

Stingray = Garbage,  Real mistake here AT&T.  I've read the forum's and I emmulate A LOT OF THOSE FRUSTRATIONS!! 

 

First, you take a way baby channels and now you've moved in to an apparent contract with this Stingray outfit.  Obviously, somebody in the Ivory Tower crunched some numbers and they are okay with the 'knock off rate' to make these changes.

 

My two year contract is up next month and things like this give me pause.  I like a lot of what AT&T has to offer over cable but not when YOU are able to change my contract and I am not that leaves a bad taste in ones mouth.  For shame...for shame.  But hey, that's why I keep Comcast, AT&T and the local guy all hooked up to the back of my house.  You vote with your dollars!

Yep, the channels really blow!  They should be called Stinkray (thanks to Ben for that!).  They are bad.  AT&T has to get a good chunk of the blame for signing up for such a sucky service.

I understand that the contract runs at least 3 years that they agreed too.

 

To directly let AT&T know, I would recommend that you send a private message to the escalation team at AT&T Customer Care, and someone will get in touch with you.  OR post on U-verse's Facebook page.
