Keep TCM in basic channel lineup
This is just a pre-emptive statement to help ensure that AT&T does not follow in Comcast's footsteps.
I just learned that Comcast will be taking TCM out of the basic channel lineup. They will only offer TCM as part of a paid Sports/Entertainment package in the future.
If AT&T does that, it would be a deal breaker for us. We should not have to pay extra for TCM, especially when we do not want the sports channels.

It all depends when the contract is up.
But yeah, I agree that Comcast has a very strange situation going on.
It may make sense for them to move their classic movie channels into their Movie Pack (included with U-300). In this case, customers with U-200 and any remaining U-100 customers would have to upgrade to U-300 or add the Movie Pack...and I think the value is in upgrading to U-300.
Again, nobody will know until the next contract is signed.
