Play/FF/Rewind screen information bar.

While watching Uverse TV and when the Play, FF or Rewind button is pressed, an information bar displays on the lower part of the TV screen for 5 seconds or more that prevents viewing the part of the programming until the information bar goes away. I find that this is annoying and could be prevented if that information bar would be located at the top of the TV screen where it wouldn't cause a distraction instead of being at the bottom part of the screen. Could this information bar be moved to the top or the viewer be given a choice to locate the bar at the top or bottom of the screen?

It is what it is.  No moving the bar.  Sorry.

Well that stinks. For info bar after pause - you can press play again to disappear it. For all other excess and often needless info bar displaying you can press exit to live TV. But if you are watching a recording and are too slow it will exit the recording and you must then work to resume. The layout on the remote stinks too. re-write the software to turn these info bars off!

Well that stinks. For info bar after pause - you can WORK and press play again to disappear it. For all other excess and often needless info bar displaying you can WORK some more and press exit to live TV. But if you are watching a recording and are too slow it will exit the recording and you must then work to resume. The layout on the remote stinks too. Re-write the software to turn these info bars off! Sorry for dupe, after reply nothing happened AND it was asking for "rich text" so I went bold.
