Sound Cutting Out on Some HD Channels

I have noticed with issues of the sound cutting in and out very rapidly on some HD channels.  I am positive it is not the connection to the reciever because merely changing to a different channel problem doesn't happen.  I have notied it today on the NFL Redzone channel and in the past on different higher number HD channels.  Anyone have a clue what this could be?

This happened on the Redzone last year during the first week or two on U-Verse. The good news is that it was straightened out and was perfect thereafter.

Know that when the sound is out of sync/wonky I change the channel and go back and 99% of time things are OK. 😉

Mine sound is still skipping on redzone also as of 10/19/2014.  Anyone get any answers yet?

I found that if you go into the settings and change it to stereo that it fixes the issues. However it is then oh in stereo and you have to change it back to get surround sound on any other channels.

It happens on mine too I just switch to Stereo when Im on the redzone

Thanks Kong, I will give that a try next Sunday! I apprieciate everyones help, this issue is so annoying.  Does anyone know the root cause?  Kind of sucks one has to switch back and forth.
