Turner Classic Movie Channel - Connecticut

Hi. Is anyone having issues with TCM today (channels 790 and 1790)?  790 tells me I'm not a subscriber and 1790 is playing the Movie Channel.  Thanks - Joe

What are you watching, the HD or SD version?  If HD, just watch it, if SD, reboot the RG to see if it comes back.

Had all my channels go unsubscribed one early morning around 3am, but they all came back a couple minutes later. 😉

If you are in Connecticut, you are no longer an AT&T customer.  You are now a Frontier Communications customer:

After October 24, 2014:

On December 17, 2013 AT&T announced that it had entered into a stock purchase agreement with Frontier Communications Corporation regarding the transfer of AT&T’s local wire line and U-verse video facilities used to provide video service in the State of Connecticut (CT) from AT&T to Frontier Communications. The transaction is projected to be completed on October 24, 2014, subject to pending approvals from the Connecticut regulatory authorities.

After October 24, 2014, Frontier Communications will continue providing a very comprehensive channel lineup with over 800 channels, with the goal to support your current AT&T channel lineup as close to what you have as possible. Effective on October 25, 2014, Frontier Communications will carry the same channel lineup you have now, with the exception of the following low viewership channels which will be discontinued (listed in alphabetical order): aapka Colors (channel 3712), beIN Sports (channels 662 and 3120 and 1662, and 3320 in HD), beIN Sports Espanol (channels 663 and 3119, and 1663 and 3319 in HD), Comcast SportsNet Bay Area HD (channel 1770), Comcast SportsNet California HD (channel 1767), Comcast SportsNet Chicago HD (channel 1741), EPIX 2 (channel 893 and 1893 in HD), EPIX Drive In (channel 896), EPIX West (channel 892 and 1892 in HD), Liquidation Channel (channels 399 and 1399), Longhorn Network (channel 611 and 1611 in HD), MTV India (channel 3709), RFD TV (channel 568), Time Warner Cable Sportsnet HD (channel 1777), TVBe (channel 3638), TVB-V (channel 3664).

After October 24, 2014, all questions regarding your Frontier TV service in Connecticut may be directed to Frontier Communications. If you have customer service or billing issues, you can contact Frontier’s customer care center at 800.921.8101. If you have technical questions or complaints regarding your Frontier TV service, please contact Frontier customer care at 800.219.6877.

Hey Joe,

Do you know that CT is no longer att? It is now Frontier. The cutover was/is bumpy. See NH register site.

I had missing info on guide, preventing recording. My 790/1790 look OK.

Frontier -

800-239-4430- be prepared to wait

Chat - Not yet ready for U-verse - Informed after one half hour wait.

E-mail - AskFrontier@ftr.com

I ended up sending the guide problem via e-mail & it was fixed & I got a return e-mail that read as uninformed.

I called the 800 number and reached a recording that told me that there
were known issues with UVerse and Internet in my area. I've had issues with
both. Thanks.

Thanks, Chris. I'm trying to watch either the SD or HD.  The SD channel (790) tells me I'm not subscribed. The HD channel 1790 plays The Movie Channel (TMC). Ugh. - Joe

As said above, you no longer are an AT&T subscriber. This forum is for AT&T subscribers

Frontier currently does not provide a forum for their customers. If you would like to discuss Frontier topics, there is currently a 3rd party Frontier forum here:

Frontier is currently posting updates on their Facebook page:
