U-verse.com Live TV Viewing Issues

I've been watching or trying to watch some of the channels on Uverse.com under the Live TV page and most of them work ok except for HGTV that I've found so far.

The video quality of the HGTV stream gets worse by the day it keeps pixelating no matter what browser I use. It's extremely frustrating and tech support didn't really get what I meant when trying to call them.

Almost all the channels besides the movie ones seem to stop by themselves if played for an hour or longer and you have to push a play button that appears in the middle of the screen to get the streams going again.

I've yet to get the in home channels working on the site either without being connected to the modem but we have 2 laptops in the house so keeping connected to the modem like that isn't going to work. The laptops have Windows 8.1 run Microsoft Security Essentials as far as protection goes.

I couldn't figure out which section to put this in since it applies to U-verse TV programming but through the website.
