The number of HD channels you can simultaneously view / record is controlled by a  communications profile determined by the bandwidth available between your U-verse Gateway and the VRAD in your neighborhood.  The closer you are to the VRAD, the more bandwidth available and the better your profile.

However, it is my understanding that the worst profile currently being installed allows for 2 HD channels (and 2 SD channels) at the same time.  Some non-Gigapower customers can have as many as 4 HD channels.  Gigapower gets 6 HD channels.

This article has a lot more information about it:

What is the maximum High Speed Internet bandwidth you can subscribe to?

Also, go to a TV with a U-verse Receiver, turn on U-verse and click on the MENU button.  Select Options > System Options > System Resources and look at the  Streams and Bandwidth cap.  Report back what those say.

Well I texted the AT&T tech that installed my uverse and I'm not sure what he did but he fixed it!!! I can now get 3 HD feeds now. He did a great job. I was in a little panic but now I am very extreemly happy. He solved my problem quickly and was very friendly. So I did not need to do what you advised me to but thank you for helping me also!
