Why is American Horror Story Apocalypse showing on my iPhone Uverse App (on Demand) but not my TV?

I tried searching for it every possible way on TV and it will not show up.  On my phone, it's right there.  I added it to my "watchlist" and "favorites" but they doesn't seem to even appear on the tv menus.   The first 2 episodes are available On Demand on my phone, but nothing is available on TV except the series itself.  Thanks.

You have posted in the forum for the internet streaming service DirecTV Now. Moving post.

This happens quite often, namely, different On Demand offerings on the app vs. On Demand on your TV.  No one has ever explained it but it happens all the time.

Remember that you have 3 places to find On Demand content:  On your TV, streaming the app and online at the networks website.  And sometimes, all 3 will offer different content.

Thanks for your reply.  I used to be able to use chromecast for Showtime's app to send video to my tv, but I can't seem to figure out how to do this with Uverse.  Maybe it's not something that works with the app?  Well, at least I am only 2 episodes behind.  I guess I'll watch it on my phone and wait for the rerun of #2.  I just thought it was so odd the phone would have more than the tv.

I know it's on FX.  I was trying to say the Showtime app will cast to the tv but I can't figure out how to make the Uverse app cast, since I can play the show on the app.
