Someone may contact you saying there is a problem with your rewards account or gift card - this is a scam.

They may say the card was accidentally sent without funds or with less than it was supposed to have. Then they’ll ask for the card information and numbers, telling you they need the information to add funds or send a replacement card.

This is a lie. Do not give them any of your gift card information.

If you get a call like this hang up. If it’s an email or a text, ignore and delete it.

Be on the lookout for scam artists posing as IRS officials - this is a scam.

These bad guys may also claim to be from other government agencies like the Social Security Administration.

There is a common scamming practice known as number spoofing where someone's phone number can be used to call other people and attempt to get personal and private information.

This is illegal and your account or usage is in no way affected by number spoofing.

You can fight number spoofing by:
