ATT

I was convinced to switch my old shared data plan that I have had for years with no issues to the new UNLIMITED plan by an att employee. I was assured my service would be EVEN BETTER! This is a scam! My service is HORRIBLE. I lose calls, texts won’t send and data overall is terrible. I have no service or data in numerous areas that I had previously. Yesterday during a storm I had NO SERVICE throughout the entire storm! Ridiculous. I hope this turns into ANOTHER (Edited per community guidelines) (Edited per community guidelines) for this company as it should be!!!

Seriously. You’re upset because you didn’t have service during a storm. That’s a thing that happens you know.

Not sure how changing your plan would cause the issues you are describing.  Those sound like reception issues, which shouldn’t be affected by changing to an unlimited plan.  What plan were you on, and what did you swap to?

This looks like a place for "how cell service works 101" 😑

https://www.fcc.gov/consumers/guides/understanding-wireless-telephone-coverage-areas#:~:text=Wireless%20telephones%20communicate%20via%20radio,establish%20their%20network%20coverage%20areas.

Or if we really simplify it...

If there is no tower near cellular phone A then cellular phone A caller has poor reception and probably cannot make a call send a text or use data.

  You are that guy.

All three major networks and a couple of the minor ones have an offer for you to try their network for free with a throwaway number.

If AT&T isn't working for you then that's what you should be doing testing out another network. AT&T can't move those towers any closer. They don't even own most of them, they lease, as do the other networks

FYI...changing plans doesn't move towers closer
