Can I block a whole prefix

I keep getting calls from 904 390-xxxx and they are all spam calls trying to sell me something, either a medicare advantage program, or get me free covid test kits.  Sometimes they have the name of a trucking company and sometimes there is no name.  None of these calls are legitimate, and I don't even know anyone who has a phone number with 904 309-xxxx.   Sometimes I get 7-10 calls a day, even from the same male named Ricky.

Can you help

All the calls from 904 390-xxxx are from different numbers, blocking doesn't work because they simply change the last 4 digits of the number

Hello, @Dan_d_Man! We understand how frustrating it can be to receive unwanted spam calls.

We recommend you download the AT&T Active Armor which will provide a better defense in blocking unwanted nuisance calls. Once you download the app, use the following steps to block phone calls:

  1. Open the AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security app and tap Calls.
  2. Scroll to Network call preferences.
  3. Choose one:
    • Block caller: You can block calls from your call log, contact list, or manually.
    • Fraud calls: This is automatically set to Block for your protection. You can choose to flag these calls or send to voicemail.
    • Nuisance calls: This is automatically set to Enabled. You can choose to flag, block, or send to voicemail each category. Categories include Political, Spam risk, Surveys, Nonprofit, Private calls, Telemarketers, and Account services. Categories were based on complaints and feedback.
    • Unknown callers: This defaults to Allowed. You can also choose to send to voicemail

We hope this information is helpful, and please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums!

You cannot block area codes or prefixes in active armor.  The AT&T response was just a generic response for blocking (individual) numbers.
