No. Once that number is unused, it goes back into a pool and your chance of getting it back is slim to none. The chip that you have, once it is deactivated for non use, it cannot be re-activated, it must be replaced.

doubtful.
but for $40 you can select a number you like from a long list of available numbers in your online account management.

Is there any way to obtain cell service based on the old chip (and old cell number)?
