Dropped phone in the lake
I dropped my phone in the lake and now for some reason they have fraud on my number they won’t release it back to me! I have been a customer for over 12 years and all they say is they can’t talk to me about it. I have been paying from the same bank account for that same 12 years. I even went to a at and t location and they said they couldn’t verify the location?? What would be my next step

Is this prepaid or postpaid?
Have you gone to an AT&T store with your photo ID?
If it's postpaid, you should know your login information and your security pin code and you should be able to go to a store with a photo ID to prove the account belongs to you. The information on the account including address should match what's on your photo ID.
It's pretty much the same for AT&T prepaid. Your prepaid account should have been updated by you manually to reflect your current address, your name. You should know your password and your PIN code. And your photo ID should match what's online.
Yes?
No?
This is likely not something that can be resolved over the phone.
