Family Secure app "Visited" Websites Activity - Facebook Messenger Question

When reviewing the websites visited activity on my childs phone i'm seeing the following when Facebook is visited:

Chat-e2ee.facebook.com

scontent-lax3-2.xx.fbcdn.net

web.facebook.com

www.facebook.com

scontent-fpphx1-2.fna.fbcdn.net

edge-mqtt.facebook.com

scontent-lax3-2.xx.fbcdn.net

gateway.facebook.com

Does this mean they are actually sending messages / chatting on Facebook Messenger or just DNS locations running in the background when checking Facebook?

Hello @Bmesa23,

We understand, and we want to clarify this for you. Based on the details you have shared it looks like it's running in the background when checking Facebook.

You can always stop it by removing the permission on the device settings.

Change permissions for apps on your Android phone

  1. On your phone, open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Apps & notifications.
  3. Tap the app you want to change. If you can't find it, first tap See all apps or App info.
  4. Tap Permissions.
    - If you allowed or denied any permissions for the app, you'll find them here.
  5. To change a permission setting, tap it, then choose Allow or Deny.

Change permissions for apps on your IOS phone

From the Settings app, tap Privacy to see all the permissions available on your phone. Tap on any entry to see the apps granted those permissions. Disable any unneeded permissions. You can always grant them again later.

We hope this information help, if there is anything else please do get back to us, and we'll look into it.
