Forgot to activate voicemail during the 60 day period after changing number.
Called customer service, and while I was told they'd re-activated my voicemail, whenever I hold 1 or do the wireless diagnostic from the ATT.com website, it still shows my voicemail not existing. I've powercycled, and refreshed connection a couple times, and it's been about an hour. Having previously worked 611 customer service for Cingular Wireless back in the day, I know it shouldn't take this long to work.. Anything we can do online so I don't have to sit on hold for 40 minutes again?

Hello! After reviewing most that I could online, I didn't find any solutions online that would resolve your issue. I recommend you to either call 611 again or visit a local AT&T store. Sorry.

Unfortunately it sounds like they did not reactivate your voicemail. You will have to call or chat with AT&T.
Do not go to an AT&T store. AT&T stores are sales they cannot resolve this issue

@Incarcer if you do not setup voicemail within 60 days of service it is automatically removed. You need to call to have it added again, then go through the setup procedure to activate it.
