during the pandemic csr is working from home and dont have the ability to just transfer you to a supervisor they would need to hang up,call a supervisor, give said supervisor the information and have them return a call which usually takes up to a week or more for them to call you.
please don’t take this as me being rude bc I am not trying to be rude but I would like to know how I can formally complain not a reason why she did what she did. If you would have heard our phone call, you would know why I am needing to formally complain about her. It was the worst CS experience I’ve ever encountered. Also, if AT&T can not properly provide services for the employees to work from home, then employees need to return to the office. I myself WFH due to the pandemic but I can assure you if someone needs my supervisor, then I would be able to send them to one right away and not have my customer wait a week.
ATT does not have a formal complaint system. As previously noted, you can file a BBB complaint or an FCC complaint. Either one will result in someone from corporate contacting you.
I have complained on a company using BBB before and absolutely nothing happened. No one from BBB nor the company called me, so I don’t have much faith in that. I’ll just call AT&T tomorrow and see how I can escalate this. Thank you.
Do what you must but a BBB or FCC complaint will get you a response from corporate. Whereas a BBB complaint could be ignored, an FCC complaint can’t be. The FCC actually requires a response.
This same happened to me today unfortunately. Lack of skilled customer reps rather than outdated technology. Outrageous service. Luckily the other customer rep was more skilled and able to help out..
