How to block Unverified calls with Call Protect?

I would like the ability to block Unverified calls, which fail the SHAKEN/STIR verification process, through the AT&T Call Protect app on my iPhone. This is different than blocking Unknown Calls for which there is an option. Unverified calls are those that do not have a checkmark next to their number.

 We're more than happy to help with information to stop unverified calls @Tapper69.

The AT&T call protect plus will automatically block any known or previously reported fraud callers from alerting your cellphone.

Please know that Unknown or Private numbers cannot be blocked, which therefore you would have to register them into the call block list to prevent any future spam calls.

You can also visit the AT&T Call Protect Page

  • This app identifies calls so that you can block or send them directly to your voicemail to verify later.
  • Get details on who called you when you enter a U.S. number.

For assistance with your device settings on how to block calls. Visit our Device Support page, sign into your account, choose your phones Make and Model and then select settings and follow the prompts to block the unverified calls. Let us know if you have any questions. Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums.

That response did not satisfy my need to block unverified callers. I would like to know when the Call Protect software engineers can incorporate this feature into the app.

AT&T ha to know where calls are coming from. There is a distinctive beep when one answers a spam call with a fake number. It's impossible for me to believe that a system as sophisticated as ATT that charges me hundreds of dollars a month won't give me any ability to block spam.

@drdanwoodard

Don't answer calls you don't recognize.

AT&T doesn't listen to the call (so a beep during the call is none of AT&T's business).

Don't dig up dead threads as is can be viewed as a form of spam.
