need help with pattern lock

Question

I put a pattern lock on my moto x 2nd gen and I'd like to remove it to no lock at all. Can anyone tell me how to remove the lock.. Thanks

That happens when I install my employers app, It requires me to have a lock code or pattern lock. If this is the case with you then consult with your employer before removing  Otherwise check settingsmoresecuritydevice administrator and uncheck the app that is preventing removal. Some antitheft apps also disable this

Click Settings, scroll to personal, tap Security, tap screen lock, then tap NONE.

My IT administrator must be turned off because my option to remove lock is grayed out. How do I turn it back on. Just got this phone and know nothing about it yet so all your help is appreciated
