Voicemail password stopped working

Voicemail asks for a password but rejects the actual password. ATT won't let me change the password unless I know the new mystery password.

The tutorials do not address this situation.

How do I reset the voicemail password?

Hi @cprstn54, we understand the importance of voicemail, and we're here to assist you.

 

You can Reset your voicemail password online:

 

    Go to your myAT&T account overview and open My wireless section.
    Scroll to My devices & add-ons and choose the device you want to manage.
    Select Manage my device.
    Under Device options & settings, choose Reset voicemail password and follow the prompts.
