Hello @rvpadman1! We understand that you need to add a URL to the security exception list. We hear you, and we're happy to assist you.

We recommend that you use Smart Home Manager. This will help to add the URL to your whitelist. You can follow the steps below to add a website.

  • Open the Smart Home Manager app or website.
  • If you receive a notification that a website was blocked, click the message, then Allow Access for the blocked URL. This will add the URL to your whitelist.
  • If you don’t receive a notification, go to Settings > App Preferences > View Exceptions. The website will be listed there.

For further assistance, we are always here to help!

Thank you

Hello @rvpadman1,

Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forum! We understand that you're trying to whitelist a website domain. Let's get the help you need.

Here’s how to whitelist a falsely blocked domain on the Smart Home Manger:

  1. Install and open the Smart Home Manager app.
  2. Tap the message icon in the top right corner
  3. Look for a “Website Blocked” message (there might be multiple) and tap on it
  4. Scroll all the way down, check the listed URL, and tap the “Allow Access” button

If you're unable to whitelist from the application, then please send an email to AT&T at abuse@att.net asking them to unblock/whitelist the website.

Let us know if this help, we look forward to your response and the opportunity to help you!

Happy to assist!

I'm having the same issue, however, when following the steps above, there is no "Allow Access" button at the bottom.  After is shows the listed URL, it only has a "Back" button.  Nowhere to access my 'exceptions list'.

You can always try to disable active armor, even temporarily to see if that helps. Log in SHM->profile->my account->active armor->cancel service

Thanks @receding_hairline . But, the interesting thing is that when I go to my account it says that 'AT&T ActiveArmor internet security' is DISABLED and gives me an option to enable it.  So, if it's already DISABLED, why is it blocking a site? Not the best structure.
