Called to discuss my account
Called and was on the phone for over an hour today trying to discuss my plan. I have been a long time customer of both cell and internet for over 14 years. I called to discuss my HBO max account that was no longer letting me log into. I spoke to 2 supervisors that told me I no longer had the HBO FOR LIFE promotion I signed up for and had for the last 5 years. After being on the phone for almost and hour I asked why I should stay with att if they don’t honor the promotions. She transferred me to cancel my account!!! Seriously considering switching to a competitor if that is how they handle long time customers

You do understand that AT&T and Max (HBO) are no longer part of the same company? Have you contacted Max Support?
I am not sure how you can blame AT&T for your loss of Max access at this point. What does it show when you Sign in to your AT&T Account? Does it list Max under your account? Did you ever setup a Max account or have you been using your AT&T Account when asked for the Provider when you try to Sign in to Max?
Finally have you made any changes to your AT&T Fiber Internet account in the last year?

Yes I did have an account with HBO and no I have not changed my account with in the last year. I blame att because it was offered as part of my plan for life, maybe they should have thought about the wording before offering it to customers

What is a plan for life? AT&T does not offer a plan for life. I have Max listed as a feature on my Fiber Internet and it is also listed on my Cellular account. When did you last use Max?
When I Sign in to my Max account (HBO accounts were migrated to Max) I see both listed under my account as subscriptions. What do you see when your Sign in to your Max account using this link: https://auth.max.com/subscription
With this information give Max Customer Support a call at 1-855-942-6669
