Hey @newshound3161, you've come to the right place to get logged in!

When signing in, you want to be using the same credentials you use to log into your myAT&T account. If you are having troubles signing in, we recommend resetting your password, so that you know it is the correct one. Also, make sure you are using the correct UserID/Email to log in.

  1. Go to reset your password
  2. Enter your user ID and the last name associated with your ID.
  3. Choose your verification method and follow the prompts.
  4. Enter and confirm your new password.

Let us know if this helps get you in!

Hi Johan,

I reset my password and am able to log into my account ok,  but when I try the link for the McAfee download I am still getting the "Incorrect user ID or password. Try again.Care code: 201 [LU100]" error message. If I can log into my account with those credentials I should be able to log into the McAfee download area, right?

We'd be happy to help you with your McAfee download, @newshound3161.

You should be able to log in using your AT&T credentials. We recommend that you uninstall your existing software, and then download and re-install AT&T Internet Security Suite to your computer.

While you're doing that, please share which Internet plan you currently have. AT&T Internet Security Suite Powered by McAfee is offered as a free service to customers with a level of 3.0Mbps DSL/HSI service or faster.

We hope this helps!

I am having an issue where I get an error message when I click "English Download." I have tried to use my AT&T credentials and my McAfee credentials. I keep getting the screen below. I have uninstalled the existing McAfee software and cleared my browser after the first error. I have followed instructions in previous posts and I am still unable to access the download. Please advise with an updated resolution.

I've had this issue over a month now. Calls to ATT and McAffee have not led to a resolution. I have attempted this using Safari, Firefox and Chrome all with the same results of Care code: 201 [LU100]. I'm running MacOS 12.7. So the issue seems to be passthrough authentication between McAfee and ATT. Please don't make me call again. The rep who takes my call will have a terrible day since I'm so frustrated with my lack of resolution that I'm not going to be fun to deal with.

This happens to me as well. When I try to log into the McAfee Security Suite Download page, I also get the Care code: 201 [LU100] error. I checked to see if it was only when trying to sign in to the download page and sure enough: I logged out of Att.com and logged back in with the same password that the Download page was telling me was incorrect and Att.com let me sign in. Tried logging into the Download page again through Egde, Chrome, Incognito mode and tried to see if maybe through the app would work and nope. Seems like a bug on ATT or McAfee's end only on the download page. This comment I'm replying to is from more than a year ago soooooo will this ever be resolved?

I was able to resolve this by eventually getting to a higher level tech who was able to see that since I was an AT&T phone customer first my accounts were not in synch so it didn't see me as user. It took him a bit to resolve the issue because he needed to maintain my account in such a way that I got the discount for being a phone user. In my case it was completely an ATT issue and nothing to do with McCafee although to their lack of credit it was 5 months after this was resolved that McCafee got back to me about my open ticket.
