Parental controls for devices connected directly via Ethernet cable
My son’s PC is connect led to our network via Ethernet cable. Smarthome Manager only seems to control wifi connected devices but I want to set limits on the times of day he can use his WIRED connection without having to go unplug him. Help!

As far as I can tell, it makes no difference whether the device is wired or wireless. Smart Home Manager offers to place wired devices in management profiles for me.

When he is connected I can’t see him (or any of our TVs for that matter) in Smarthome Manager. I only see wifi connections

That's strange, because I have the Wi-Fi radios turned off on my Gateway, and it shows the things connected via Ethernet.

I have the same issue. I can actually see many wired devices in my list, but strangely my son's desktop and my TV are both not listed like the poster above.
