port 22 access via remote connection
Our business just switched to AT& business fiber (uverse). Previously we had AT&T MIS (managed internet service).
While on MIS our tech guru was able to access our system through port 22 via our static IP. We allowed his IP address to connect on our managed switch (the only one allowed).
the only setting I changed on our managed switch was the static IP.
Our tech guru can no longer access port 22. He is using our new static IP.
Does AT&T restrict access to port 22? if so can we unrestrict it?
Thanks

No, AT&T allows SSH. By default no unsolicited traffic is allowed in to the public static IP addresses. To allow traffic, you either have to put a host in the list at Firewall > Public Subnet Hosts (listing the IP and the port allowed similar to Port Forwarding), or in Home Network > Subnets & DHCP you need to set Allow Inbound Traffic to On (which will allow ALL unsolicited traffic in to ALL public static addresses).
