AT&T contractor cut my electrical line, need reimbursement, and now they want to dig again HELP

Door hanger was on my door with the following information:

Reference # GW Communications

Stated that there will be digging. Please do NOT come on my property to dig. We just had an incident where AT&T came on my property and cut my electrical line. I had to pay $1,680 to run a new line and we have a current claim with AT&T / Sedgwick (See attached e-mail / Claim # [edited for privacy – please do not post personal information].

I CANNOT afford any more damage from incompetent contractors, and I need to be reimbursed for my loss ASAP. Please excuse my demeanor but I am a frustrated consumer that has been crushed under the wheels of your very large organization.

@DarenH, you have made a post an a public forum provided for AT&T users to communicate with other AT&T users. You should not post your full name or any identifying or private information such as your claim number in such a forum.

While AT&T employees do look at forum posts from time to time, you should have no expectation that any particular action will come from such a post (e.g. calling you, stopping the work; these will not happen). You should instead click this Customer Service link to send a Private Message (PM) to the AT&T customer service team to help you resolve your request. You can expect a reply via return PM (the blue envelope in the upper right hand corner of this site, next to your avatar and name) in a business day or three. You can speed things up by including your name, Billing Account Number and the best way and time to reach you.

Keep in mind that if they are working in a public utility easement, they have as much right to be there as do you.
