AT&T fiber optic install caused Property Damage Claim - Water line

During AT&T fiber optic cable install, my water line was damaged x2 (Main water line and Sprinkler system on the side of my property), causing water loss to my property. I was at work when my daughter called me to let me know that water was shooting up in our front yard out of the massive hole they had dug, so I rushed home. After arriving home, the guys did not inform me of the issue (I already knew and wanted to see if they were going to be honest), so I went in my home to see if we had water pressure. After videoing the lack of water pressure at my faucets, I went out and spoke to one of the workers who then let me know they had hit the primary water line. I took photos of the water that was flooding my yard, and streaming down the street. I also took photos of the massive hole in my yard, and went to the city water office to notify them of what had happened in case of an increased water bill. Today, a few months later, I had to call the city to come out because water is again puddling in my yard where the water line and is streaming down the street. The city informed me that I would need to contact AT&T, because they are the ones that caused the damage. I'm sure a plumber is going to have a field day charging me right before the holidays, so i am definitely not a happy customer. Where do I send photos & file formal complaint so I may be reimbursed for the damage?

I agree with the people who are complaining about your cable installers.  Your subcontractor, Anesco, laid cable all over our neighborhood and they made a mess.  We were fortunate enough to have insurance coverage to pay for the over $12,000 in damage you did to our sewer line and home.  Others were not so fortunate and we have been told your subcontractor’s insurance coverage is going out of their way to drag their heels in paying for the damage they have done.  At first it was believed they only cracked our main sewer line.  Today we learned they actually bored a hole all the way through the pipe and also dislodged the connector pipe between the main line and the house, which is why our damage was so extensive.  Your subcontractor only identified the location of the gas line to protect his own people but did not bother to identify the location of the sewer or water lines anywhere in the neighborhood.  Apparently your company places profit over any consideration for the damage your people are causing and most of us will not not even consider doing business with you.  My insurance carrier is going to deal with you as a subrogation case and I have personally helped them gather enough information to make sure they get reimbursed but if truth were told, you should be paying off each and every one of those claims without delay, including any and all deductibles charged for those you damaged.  And quite frankly, you should be charged with punative damages for your “Don’t give a (Edited per community guidelines)” attitude regarding the damage they are doing.  We had to stay in a hotel for almost two months while the damages were repaired and we had to kennel our two dogs.  One of them died while in the kennel and I blame you for that too......indirecty, if not directly for what occurred.  I used to respect AT&T but no longer.
