Can AT&T run a new connection point?

Currently, the only cable connection point is in my bedroom. This is not ideal given the location and my door is usually closed. Will the technician likely run a new line in a more central location, like my living room? I am getting fiber for internet installed tomorrow.

Yes the tech will want to make a new run since it will be Fiber to your new AT&T Gateway. Is the living room on an outside wall and do you know which side of your house your Fiber will be fed?

Just make sure to discuss your install options tomorrow when the tech arrives. The tech will want the easiest path. Do you have aerial Fiber or buried?

I do have an East facing outside wall in my living room and my fiber is on the South wall of the house. It's a small house. I am not positive but I think it is buried.
