Compliant: AT&T Fiber Service Unreliable

To whom it may concern,

I am writing a formal complaint against AT&T regarding the non-functionality of their internet service, which I have experienced since purchasing it on February 19, 2024. Since the purchase, the service has been unstable, dropping hundreds of times daily, and we have gone without service for hours at a time.

I have contacted AT&T customer service and management numerous times to resolve this issue. Each time, I was assured the problem would be fixed, but the service continues to be non-functional. Despite multiple technician visits from various techs, Brandon, Rufus, Cameron, and Stephen, and several troubleshooting steps, the issue persists. Our speeds have remained significantly below expectations, with frequent outages and poor connectivity - which were discovered to be a result of poorly spliced fiber lines (please review attached images).

The frequent and prolonged internet outages have severely impacted my ability to work from home. Additionally, the instability of my internet connection has caused significant personal inconvenience, as reliable Wi-Fi is essential due to poor cellular coverage in my area.

Since my last service appointment on May 13th, I have not received any updates from management, Lyndon Liburd or Larry Mahaffey despite multiple attempts to contact them. 

I am requesting a refund for the months I have paid for the service and immediate repair or replacement of the damaged lines to ensure a stable and reliable internet connection.

@Kanderson24  This is a public, customer populated forum only. It is not AT&T Support so your formal complaint will not be read by anyone who can even remotely address the issue. Also, the posting of names in a public forum is strictly frowned upon.

File an online complaint with the BBB. That will get forwarded to AT&T Upper Management and someone from the Office of the President will contact you. Just have all of your documentation in order when they call. That's as high up in AT&T that a customer can go. Hopefully they will be able to straighten out your internet issues. Good luck.
