Fiber Optic self install

I just installed the AT&T F/O box (BGW320-500). My computers connected okay to the system but my two Vizio TVs refuse to connect after imputing and re-imputing the wifi pw several times - any ideas? Also, I have been able to successfully integrate my Alexis devices with no issue - only the TVs I have issue with.

Hi K4FXR1,

Thanks for reaching out to us. We understand that you are unable to connect your AT&T Wi-Fi with your Vizio TV. We hear you, and are happy to assist you.

Furthermore, we recommend that you try optimizing your internet connection, this will help to boost your internet speed.

Also, please try resetting your Wi-Fi gateway to original settings.

Heads up: Be sure to jot down your custom settings, like your static IP address if you have one, or your Wi-Fi® network name (SSID). You can then change them back after the factory reset.

  1. Press and hold the gateway Reset button for at least 10 seconds. If you let go before 10 seconds, the gateway will reboot, but it won’t reset.
  2. Wait until the gateway restarts and all the status lights are lit.
  3. See if the Broadband or Service status lights are solid green. If so, the reset worked.

Find or change your Wi-Fi info

As the connectivity is operational and the only problems are with your Vizio TV's.

We suggest you have a check with the Vizio support regarding this.

If you have any issues please do keep us informed.

Thank you,

Rob, AT&T Community Specialist

Thank you Rob for your quick response. I can’t tell you specifically what I did (because I “done” everything but somewhere in the doing process magic happened and it seems to be working okay. I think certain sections of 80yo grey matter came back to life - but it will quickly fade away as experience has taught me…..
