Fiber to our house??

I was wondering how to get fiber ran to our home. We kinda live in the middle of no where and AT&T is our only internet option but the lowest one is all we can get. I went on to the form to try and fill it out but it’s not a neighborhood or apartment. It’s just a house out here struggling. Would really love some advice please!

Hi @Tayiah,

Thank you for having interest in AT&T Fiber internet services!

We're here to help you with the information on when Fiber would be available at your address.

Please visit our website to check for AT&T Fiber availability, and enter your address with your ZIP code. If it shows as available, then you can order online or call our team at 844.866.4258, and they will be happy to assist you with the installation.

There can be multiple reasons why Fiber isn't available yet, such as the following:

  1. Distance – AT&T Internet is a distance-dependent service. If you are too far away from the equipment, certain services may not be available. This means your neighbor may have service but your home cannot.

  2. Equipment is not available – To get service, AT&T Internet equipment has to be in the area. In some instances, it isn't. We do not have information if or when it will be.

  3. The area is not built for U-verse – some areas are not U-verse ready. The Community team does not have information if or when it will be. Distance and equipment can play a key in instances like this.

  4. Another competitor services there area - This happens from time to time but it does not mean all services are not available to you. Check out other internet options below!

We are still in the process of expanding the network to provide the most coverage to our customers. You can access our Coverage Map where you can check availability at your address. Otherwise, if you’d like to check if service is available to you now or to sign up for a notification if it does become available in the future, please visit att.com/NotifyMe. We will send you a notification via your preferred method as soon as AT&T Fiber becomes available to you.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.

Thank you!

Emma, AT&T Community Specialist.

What does lowest one mean?

ATT ADSL2+ speed tiers based upon copper loop length are 18, 10, 5, 3, 1.5, and .76.... do you have .76?

For ADSL2+ upgrades expect fiber to the cell tower, this is FWA (Fixed Wireless Access) as 5G or 4G LTE. ATT AIR or similar FWA offerings from T-Mobile, US CellulR, Verizon would be fiber to cell tower.

Otherwise relocating to one of the 24+ million ATT fiber addresses would be the fastest and only sure way to have ATT fiber service.
