[Home Fiber] Multiple Missed Installation Appointments

The whole experience of trying to get AT&T fiber internet at home has been frustrating and comical. We have had 4 consecutive missed installation appointments and 12+ hours of time wasted waiting for a technician to show up. We have also spent a few hours on the phone and chat trying to get a technician to the house to install the service. Is this typical of AT&T or is this new? If you are planning on getting AT&T internet, don't hold your breath and be ready for a long frustrating wait. Still waiting for someone to show up...

is the contact information correct? Tech will call when dispatched on the appointment, possibly number transposed?

is the address correct? Tech will drive to the location if none answers on pre call, tech could br driving to wrong address such as old address instead of new if moved or different address than actual.

is the appointment being cancelled prior? This would be facility issue waiting on something to be completed before appointment move often seen with new developments, new construction compared to older neighborhood upgraded.

In this case, the order is pulled and no tech can dispatch.

Have you tried the WHERES MY TECH which shows appointment as either pending or dispatched and possibly name/ phone number of the tech.

Time of appointment? The early the better, if appointments run long the last of day may be rescheduled, normally receive a text message if tech is late or unavailable. Recommend the 8-10 or 10-12, if being given a four hour window this is a repair appointment while longer appointment windows such as 8-8 is standby if someone cancels.

Contact/address information is verified as correct.  The appointment gets cancelled after I reschedule the missed appointment, the last one was scheduled for Saturday and has been "In Progress" since.  Where's my tech only shows the upcoming appointment time and then switches to "In Progress" once the time comes around.  I have tried 4 different appointments ranging from 8:00AM-10:00AMx3, 10:00AM-12:00PM, a Wednesday, Friday, Tuesday and Saturday.  Thanks for the help, do you have any other ideas?

Had another appointment today, 12:00PM to 2:00PM, but it has been missed as well.  Not sure what is going on and have checked with support to make sure there is nothing causing this.  I am at a loss and don't know what to do next.
