Rural Oklahoma underserved area Fiber Request

Hello, I currently live in the Winganon area of Oklahoma, by Oologah Lake south of Alluwe Oklahoma.  We currently only have AT&T phone lines and very poor AT&T signal.  I heard that there is a fiber line which is in Alluwe, Ok from AT&T.  My request is that AT&T serves this area by providing FTTH service. My understanding also is that AT&T has accepted government funding to build fiber lines out in Rural America.  My area is one of the most needed in the country because we have no other alternatives.  We are in a valley so cannot get point of sight internet and expensive satellite internet with its long latency issues coupled with strict data caps strangles most consumers and business owners such as myself.  It is a rip off.  I wish AT&T would have the courage to build out to my area vs areas non-rural which have cable hook ups.  Please take this into consideration.

Hey @jamljr,

We want to get AT&T internet into as many homes as we can! You can use our Availability tool to check for service in your area! If no option is available, you can sign up to get a notification when service does become available at our Notify Me page. For more information as to why service may not be available in your area, you can check out our Things to Know about AT&T Availability forum post.

If you have any other questions or concerns, we'd be happy to help out! Thanks for contacting the AT&T forums team!
