Complain to your Congressman. They are the reason that the ACP didn't get re-funded. Government funded programs are ending because Congress is non-functional.

You are so right.  They want everything via internet electronically but they take it away   Trust me I have been complaining but they don't care about We the People only Me the Politician  Time We the People get rid of them and can only pray for 1 who cares about us. Doubt it but I can dream

Unfortunately it's going to take more than one person to straighten things out, and a lot of time as well.

You got that right was thinking of getting phone service from them but they lost that idea cause I know that they will find a way to make me pay to much regardless of what they tell you.  I just gonna find a provider that does accept the lifeline.  Enough customers leave there will be no  company and employees jobless and I feel bad for the employees but it is what att is making it

Sigh...

ACP was a federal government program not a service provider program. The federal government set aside a fixed amount of money.  At the time they said that it would fund eligible internet or cellular customers, until the money ran out.  Well the money ran out in April. It was announced very widely in January that the funds would run out in April.

Lifeline is something else. If you were eligible for ACP you are most likely eligible for lifeline.

But not every service provider in every area is lifeline eligible.  There is usually one service provider in every ZIP code.   If another service provider provides lifeline in your ZIP code, then AT&T does not. That's just the way it works

I was approved for lifeline they do have att just att says internet not available at my address even though I have had them for years.  And there's actually 4.8 million still available for this. I have contacted efery politician but IMHO the government is more worried about supporting other countries and could care less about the American people or the USA for all that matters
