Difficulty accessing my account
I have AT&T Internet service and I have DirecTV. On March 30 I got an email stating my account passcode was reset because of the data breach. Well, the email did NOT contain any information on how to change the passcode.
In the process of trying to login/reset my password, I've obtained an email listing three different usernames. So far, not a single one is allowing me to specifically get into AT&T where I can change the passcode.
Specifically going to att.com and logging in, it looks like I've accessed the At&t account. As soon as I go to the profile, I get a message stating "oops, it looks like you've entered DirecTV credentials" and then it takes me to my DirecTV account
Working through social media support,I got a link where I can create a new account. I don't really want to create yet another account where I have to keep up with the login information.
It just seems like not matter what I try, I'm only getting into the DirecTV account. I reset a password and while I haven't tested this theory yet, I bet that it reset the password for DirecTV so that the next time I try to watch TV, I'll have to login again.
