I never received my $300 reward card for switching to AT&T Fiber

In May I had a salesman come to my door offering me a $300 gift card deal for switching to the newly installed AT&T Fiber lines in my neighborhood. Just for some background to add context to my frustration... This installation had been a very big hassle for us as they ran out of cable for months, leaving a big machine in our yard almost the whole time, tore up half our front yard installing it and left tons of rock and stone in our yard when they finally finished. So I was definitely excited to (in a roundabout way) get something for our troubles. (I also ended up switching to AT&T cell service because ours was tied up with our internet plan at Comcast so had to change that as well.)

I was watching for the gift card to come in the mail, but kept dragging my heels calling you because I was confident it would come because I've never had problems receiving promotional gift cards before. The salesman mentioned it taking up to 10 weeks, then on the order it said something about a reward after 90 days without termination, and then the Rewards Center website said 6 weeks after service or other applicable time period, so I assumed it must be 6 weeks after the 90 days.

I called the Reward Center number yesterday and was not only told about some rule about it being past the 120 day time period, but that also they don't even show a record of a gift card even being mentioned/attached to my account. I was transferred to customer service who reiterated the same line but then put me on hold to try and find if there even was a promotion at the time. After a long period of on-again off-again holding times the Rep said she did find the promotion but because it was past 120 days there was nothing she could do but offer me a $20 credit to my account.

So I'm obviously disappointed. I feel like I'm being punished for something that's not my fault. The promotion/gift card is listed on the Order Receipt I was emailed (see below) so why was it not added to my account?

AT&T is full of scammers, I don't even know where to start from.

On January 4th I called AT&T because I was shopping around for internet services, I talked to a very nice lady who convinced me of the speed and to close the sale she also mentioned of a $250 visa gift card. I was immediately sold, and signed up for the service, here is the order number: (Edited as per community guidelines). I decided to call AT&T a week after my installed date to inquire about the gift card. The person I talked with from customer service directed me to the gift card website, stating that I will be asked a series of questions to determine my eligibility. I didn't have a good feeling about this, I told the lady that why do I need to be eligible again if it already comes with me signing up for service. I made sure that she was on the phone while I was going through the website, once on the website the first thing it asked me was: would you claim your free 6-month membership of NVIDIA gaming? I told the lady that this question has nothing to do with AT&T, she just said it's a yes or no question. I answered NO because I don't play video game, guess what after that the system told me that I was disqualified from getting my visa reward gift card. AT&T are you serious, the gift card was for me signing up for your service. I will report this to the BBB.

Had no problems with mine. Got a digital gift card and added it to my PayPal. Also what's reporting it to the BBB going to do? That's a private company that holds literally no power to change anything. You pay for grading on that website to get and A and if you don't pay you don't get an A. They had a huge scandal for terrible business practices with ADT. If that's where you get your information then I'm sure you probably just were doing things wrong. Don't know anyone in there right mind who uses the BBB as a reliable source. That's worse than Wikipedia.
