My cancelled account refund

How can AT&T say that my refund on my cancelled account, that was only cancelled because their service didn't work, is as important to them as it is to me?. It can't be if u can take my hard earned money, keep it for 60 days, and not give me a single thing in return.. How does it only take u 2 minutes to take my money, yet it takes you 2 months to return it?. Any other credit card refund only takes 5 to 10 business days.. this is ridiculous and don't think for a minute that the operator will tell u any different.. it may only be $100, but as a single mom w 6 kids, that's dinner for 4 nights..
