Regular internet outages

We experience regular internet outages at our house, including currently.  Speeds are poor to begin with (max of 25mbps), it appears no investment is being made in my neighborhood (no fiber, no internet air) and outages happen regularly.  A tech is dispatched at least annually with short duration outages occurring .  As the world is now connected, we run many of our systems via wifi and outages are a real problem in running our household.

Getting support is time consuming and a frustrating use of time working through AT&T's "support" tools.  After running diagnostics, chat can't schedule a tech, now on hold for over 20 minutes.

How do I improve the level of service I receive from AT&T, this isn't an acceptable way to service your customers.  It has to be better than this.

Hi @steveneedshelp! We completely understand your concern regarding intermittent service, and would like to help. Let's get the assistance you require.

The Community Forums are a public support option where other users, and AT&T, will try and assist with high level support needs. This means we won’t be able to look into account specific concerns. To get the help you need for your unique issue, please review our Contact Us page [www.att.com/support/contact-us/], and choose the best option to reach out to us. You can call, chat, or reach out via social media, and we can review your specific issue and provide you support. If you feel your issue isn’t account specific, and can be answered generally, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to help.

Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums,

Ancy, AT&T Community Specialist.

If it’s an actual electrical circuit issue to your gateway, you really need to stay on top of Att.  The forum isn’t a place to get truck rolls done.  It’s ultimately up to you how much energy to invest in trying to get your connection stable, but even though the tech is at EOL, Att is still obligated to take care of it.
