Setup scan to email - SMTP settings

Primary SMTP Gateway:   outbound.att.net

Primary SMTP Gateway Port:   465

SMTP Timeout:   30

Reply Address:   ***@att.net

Use SSL/TLS:   Required

Device Userid:   ***@att.net

Device password:  ****

These are the settings I am using and it is failing.  I am sending from a Lexmark copier trying to scan to email.

Nope.

I ended up using settings from a different account.

I know I'm late but I had the same issue with this on a Lexmark printer. Had to use an android app to detect my smtp server. The configuration is identical to yours except the smtp server is: smtp.mail.att.net

I know it's been a while but I got it to work on a Lexmark printer and ATT's SMTP server. I decided to share this for anyone else who runs into the same issue.

FYI and FWIW the server into is documented here.  And like email client apps, these days it is recommended you use a secure mail key in place of the account password.  That's also mentioned in the server settings page.
