unlink other sbcglobal. net email account from primary att internet email account and Myatt account

Myatt internet account encouraged to share same password for all 3 accounts - 1. att.net - primary email account, 2. sbcglobal.net - secondary email account and 3. Myatt - main account by linking all with same password. If I do not want I can unlink all three by creating different passwords. Now I could not remove the subaccount email- sbcglobal.net. Contacted att service several times. They have no clue.

Anybody come across the problem, please help me to remove sbcglobal.net and separate- myAtt and att.net email with separate passwords. Thank you.

Hi there, Banusamy. Thanks for reaching out to us about needing to unlink your sbcglobal email, and we'd be happy to help you.

Here is how you can remove a linked account from your user ID

  • Go to your myAT&T Profile. Sign in if asked.
  • Scroll to Account Settings and select Linked accounts.
  • Choose Remove this account for the account you want to unlink. If you try to remove a canceled account with a balance due, we'll ask you to make a payment.
  • Select one of these, if asked: A secondary user to replace you as the primary user or No one.
  • Choose a new primary account, if asked.
  • Follow the directions to remove the account from your ID.

Please let us know if you were able to resolve your issue with the steps provided above.

I want to retain my sbcglobal.net email address independently of AT&T. We haven't had an account with AT&T for years. If possible, please explain in detail.
