AT&T Air speed dropped from 400 to a few Mbps x3 weeks, despite multiple resets and calls to Help line.

We live in Willow Glen, San Jose, CA. We switched on 3/20/24 from AT&T DSL (which we've had for many years, reliably gave 30-50 Mbps consistently) to AT&T Air, with initially very impressive results, i.e. 300-400 Mbps so were very happy. This lasted until ~5/2/24, when we started getting results in the low 10's, often around 0.8, 1, 2 or 3 Mbps. Only once or twice have I seen it at a high speed, and I've been checking every day several times a day using SpeedTest and the AT&T SmartHomeManager app (which also uses SpeedTest). I have on multiple occasions also reset my my Air hub (holding reset button for >10 secs) to no improvement. I am now unable to work from home, and our smart TV is painfully slow or unusable. I've called AT&T help last weekend and was told that there may be work in our area that could be slowing us down... but this has been consistent now for a month. Ready to abandon AT&T if this cannot be resolved. Could use some help please from AT&T.

Similar. The first month I would average 100 megabits, and at night time it would peak to 200-350 megabits. Now using an AX adapter I can average 8-40 mbps, but if I use an AC or N adapter it goes down to like 5-10 mbps. Dunno why that would change the speed, also given when I got 300+ mbps it was on a N adapter actually! At anyrate, 25 mbps is the old broadband standard, and 100 mbps is the newer broadband standard. It's a struggle to hit an average 25mbps on most days.

I am jealous!I am in single digit speed range during days since March 2024. Over 20 calls to AT&T, 5 with supervisors and a new Hub. Still the same. Buffers when I stream. What a joke and sad they do not want to take care of a customer that has been with AT&T for over 25 years.
