All-Fi Hub (CGW450) Bridge Mode / IP Passthrough?

How can I put the All-Fi Hub (CGW450) into bridge mode so I can use my existing wifi routers?  The existing wifi router/extenders are already in optimal locations in the house, so I'd prefer to just use them instead of the wifi on the All-Fi Hub.

I was able to get this to work like kdg23 mentioned.

  1. Turn off wifi on Internet Air device (Home Network -> Wifi)
  2. Set Air device into passthrough (Firewall -> IP Passthrough). Set Allocation to Passthrough. Set Passthrough Mode to DHCPS-fixed. Choose your other router's MAC address from Device List.
  3. Turn off packet filtering. Firewall -> Packet Filter. Click on "Disable Packet Filtering"
  4. Turn off other firewall options. Firewall -> Firewall Advanced. Turn all of these off.

At that point, I was able to sustainably get >200 Mbs through my mesh network.

These instructions (goto 192.168.1.1) don't match with the instructions on the router (goto 192.168.1.254). I also can't find Network > WAN Settings in the Admin panel. Are there different instructions for the CGW450-400?

I agree with BadgerXC.  I went to 192.168.1.254 and found administration info...but NO listing for "Network".  I looked through all the options and found no option for WAN Settings.  Also I have a CGW450-499 Model.  Please provide info on how to place this unit into the Bridge Mode.  Thanks!

I could not find anything about Bridge Mode for the Air Hub, but used these instructions (for a different hub) to try IP Passthrough:

https://www.att.com/support/smallbusiness/article/smb-internet/KM1188700/

I used the DHCPS-fixed option in the instructions and entered my router's MAC address. Save and rebooted the hub and my router.

IPv4 worked but I might have needed to change my router's IPv6 settings. Sorry, don't remember.

In the end, I settled on putting my router into Access Point Mode, instead of using IP Passthrough.

I found the IP Passthrough options under the Firewall / IP Passthrough menu.

Anyone not receiving IPv6 public addresses after setting up IP passthrough?

You seem to be cross posting the same question repeatedly.  Pick a thread and focus on it.

FTR, I don’t have this Att Internet Air product myself, however referencing 192.168.1.254 is the standard address for accessing the management console on an Att gateway.  These devices DO NOT offer or support bridged mode.  This is policy.
