att giving wrong ip / location

the location on my att air router is saying its in California and im in Texas, because of this i get unplayable ping on servers i play, is there a way to get this back to where its supposed to be? i live 3 hrs from dallas and im getting 100 ms. PLEASE give me a fix i live in a rural area and i used to get 30 ms on dallas, but att air.

You need to call ATT to see if your IP address can be corrected for correct GEO location.

I’ve called the help line 7 times on my wifi air ip showing Texas not Oklahoma no help. I went to ATT store they called corporate I was told to call help line have my ip changed no one knows how to. HELP
